Product Description
The IQAir Atem X ColdFire (CF) offers a new specially designed filter to meet the demand of customers who are concerned about indoor exposure to formaldehyde. The HyperHEPA CF Filter of the IQAir Atem X CF provides Atem X's elegance, ultra-quiet performance, air quality monitor, HEPA filtration, as well as the effective removal of formaldehyde.
The HyperHEPA CF filter uses catalyst technology to convert formaldehyde gas into water vapour and carbon dioxide. The amounts of water vapour and CO2 are very small and do not make any discernible difference to a room’s humidity or CO2 levels. Because the formaldehyde catalyst is not consumed in the conversion process, the removal efficiency stays stable throughout the filter’s life span.
As for the effectiveness of the ColdFire filter in the removal of formaldehyde, this was confirmed by accredited international test labs. The tests confirmed a CADR for the Atem X CF model in excess of 200 m3/h for formaldehyde and above 600 m3/h for particulates.
The Atem X CF offers a filter life span between 24-36 months, at usage of eight hours a day, moderate pollution levels and usage at medium fan speed setting.

Air Quality Monitor
The Atem X CF incorporates an integrated air quality monitor, allowing for the automatic adjustment of its eight fan speed settings based on room pollution levels. This feature relies on continuous monitoring of fine particle pollution (PM 2.5) by the built-in sensor, ensuring efficient particle removal and minimal energy consumption.
Additionally, the air quality monitor of Atem X CF includes monitoring for CO2 levels, humidity, and temperature in the environment.
Efficient Operation in Spacious Areas
Atem X CF utilizes Flexible Air Rotation (FAR) technology, enabling it to distribute cleaner air effectively in larger rooms. Despite its capacity to move substantial air volumes (up to 750m³), the Atem X CF employs BionicCore technology to maintain low noise levels.
IQAir App Integration
The Atem X CF seamlessly integrates with the IQAir Air Visual app, providing users with access to historical, real-time, and forecasted air pollution data. The app also delivers a 7-day air pollution and weather forecast, health recommendations, weather information, and indoor air quality monitoring.

Modern and Sleek Design
Diverging from the conventional appearance of air purifiers, the IQAir Atem X CF combines style and performance with its circular design. Its compact footprint allows it to seamlessly blend into various environments.
For enhanced flexibility, the Atem X CF comes with a caster stand for easy mobility, and users also have the option to use a wall mounting kit.
The control panel, situated on the back of the unit, provides information on current fan speed, Wi-Fi status, filter status, and air quality. Users can control Wi-Fi and display lighting directly from the control panel.
Filtration Technology
The filter of the IQAir Atem X CF consists of a combination of the HyperHEPA HF media and the 'ColdFire catalyst' joined together in a single filter element and therefore targets formaldehyde gas as well as all types of airborne particulates, including allergens, bacteria, viruses, fine dust, diesel soot and the most harmful ultra-fine pollution particles.
Although the ColdFire catalyst of the IQAir Atem X CF removes formaldehyde very effectively, it does not target the filtration of other gases such as VOCs.
